Sarah Jang was born in South Korea in 1985. She began studying piano at age 7. Her father was a pastor at a small church in Korea, where she became the church pianist at the age of 11. When she was 20 years old, Sarah came to the United States to study at Dallas Baptist University; the experience has been much better than she anticipated. Sarah is in her junior year at DBU as a piano performance major under Dr. Beth Quillian. She is also serving as a pianist at First Baptist Church of Cedar Hill. Sarah will complete her bachelor’s degree in December of 2009. After graduating, she will either start graduate school or return to Korea to teach.
